It can take a while, you have to remember that there are around 5 applications a day each valid one taking 5+ minutes to consider, there is I believe only one admin sometimes two who look at the staff applications and on days where they aren't done it can build up. So yeh, give it time, and when you get your responce if its a acceptance for interview great, if it isn't look at why and think about how you can improve your application for next time.
